Why Moonshot?

Moonshot started with a simple question: what can we do now to help ourselves stay stronger, sharper and healthier as we get older?

For me, that question has a personal connection. My Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and like many people who have experienced their loved ones suffering with this disease, it made me curious about what could possibly be done earlier in life to support long term health.

That curiosity led me to creatine. Like many people, I thought it was something used mainly by bodybuilders and athletes. But the more I read, the more interested I became in the research around creatine, not only for muscle strength and physical performance, but also its emerging role in brain health and cognition.

And I wondered: why aren’t more people our age talking about this?

That’s really where Moonshot began.

We’re creating high-quality, thoughtfully formulated supplements for people in midlife and beyond. Products that are easy to understand, enjoyable to take and made to standards we’d expect for ourselves and our families.

We also want to share what we learn along the way, without fads, miracle promises or complicated science. Just good information, quality ingredients and simple daily habits that may help us make the most of the years ahead.

And because Alzheimer’s is part of the reason Moonshot exists, we want to give something back. A percentage of our profits will go towards supporting charities helping people and families living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
